Follow the second adventures of Goku. Cooler is Frieza's brother working with the two men Yamu and Spopovich looking for strong fighters to absorb energy from. Piccolo is suspicious of Shin and believes that he may have a connection with this new threat. Meanwhile, Mr Satan sends his daughter Videl out to spar with her new friend. Cooler is the titular main antagonist in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge and an emulation of him acts as the main antagonist in Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler. He is the older brother of Frieza and the elder son of King Cold.

DRAGON BALL Z: A NEW HOPE Gohans Hidden Power - The earth is finally at peace after the battle with Majin Buu. Mr. Satan invites everyone to a party at his new hotel; but Videl, still unconvinced of Goku's abilities, decides to enter the World Martial Arts Tournament to test him. When the fighters arrive on Babidi's ship, Dabura has already been turned into a cookie and eaten by Majin Buu. Buu uses their energy to awaken and he destroys the ship in the process. Elsewhere, Vegeta is buried underneath rubble from his fight with Meta-Cooler. He continues to struggle free even though numerous Meta-Coolers appear before him. Back on Earth, Buu has also become bloated from eating so many people and lays down for a nap. This allows Trunks and Goten time to get Gohan out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and hide him once more...
Goku and Gohan return home after a near-death experience to discover that Buu has been hard at work doing what Buu does best: marshmallowing entire cities.
